Abstract
We report one-pot synthesis of magnetically recyclable mesoporous silica catalysts for tandem acid-base reactions. The catalysts could be easily recovered from the reaction mixture using a magnet, and the pore size of the catalysts could be controlled by introducing a swelling agent, resulting in the significant enhancement of the reaction rate. © 2013 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
