dc.description.abstractA strategy for a high dispersion of metal/metal oxide nanoparticles in a mono-modal fashion is developed. The key is the functionalization of mesopore walls with basic –C3H6–N+(Me)3(OH) groups. The supported metal catalysts obtained in the present work exhibit high catalytic activities for CO2 methanation at low temperature and CO oxidation. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2017-
